One of the programs was organized at the holy shrine of Imam Ali (AS) and another at a historic home in Najaf where late founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran Imam Khomeini (RA) resided during the 1960s and 1970s.
The university’s Quranic convoy includes qaris from different countries like India, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Mali, Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Iraq and Tajikistan.
During their eight-day stay in Iraq, they organized various programs including Quran recitations, Tarteel recitations, Tawasheeh (religious songs), Adhan (call to prayer), and elegy recitations.
Answering the Quranic questions of Arbaeen pilgrims was also on the agenda of the group.
